#Healing4Kerry

10pm on Saturday 24th November 2012 and it seems for once the blogging community stands together, united. United in strength, compassion, hope and love for fellow blogger and friend Kerry.

The first time I met Kerry she helped me struggle onto the tube with a 4 year old J, trunki and bags of swag from Christmas in July, we then seemed to bump into each other at all the same events. At CybHer earlier this year I spent the day with Kerry and Emma, had it not been for their kindness I would have probably ditched the conference at about 10.30! It was there that I took this photo of the 2 of them.

Who could have known that just a few months later Kerry would be so very poorly? Kerry remains in hospital whilst her friends and family hope and pray that she will be strong enough to make a full recovery and be welcomed home by her wonderful husband and 3 gorgeous children.

This is the reason all her online family are coming together this evening, to make a noise loud enough for Kerry to hear, create waves big enough for her to feel and to show her nearest and dearest just how much she means to us all, that we believe in her and know that their combined strength will bring them through this very difficult time.

Wherever you are, whenever it is you read this please take just a moment to think of Kerry and her family.

Get well soon x

  1. Just left you a long comment but instead of clicking post I clicked “register” so it got eaten.

Must try and remember what I said.

I also said yes it was lovely to see bloggers UNITED

and won’t it be great to all meet up at Brit Mums Live 2013 and update Kerry on all that she’s missed.

  3. She makes an impact doesn’t she? And it’s great to see that she helped you out with a daunting event which in turn saw you helping others at Britmums; pay it forward! Lovely to read personal memories of the Kerry that I know as well.
